Legal operations vs investment analysis

LinkSquares The Legal Ops dashboard

LinkSquares is designed to make the in-house legal team efficient. It tracks drafting turnaround times, manages approvals, and stores signed contracts. It is a "productivity" tool for the General Counsel. Its M&A features are often focused on the sell-side (helping you populate a data room).

Colabra The investment analysis tool

Colabra is designed to make the deal team confident. We focus on the buy-side. We audit the target's IP chain of title, verify their employment compliance, and map their counterparty risk. We are not measuring how fast you review; we are measuring how much risk you are buying.

Why the "GC" tool isn't the "deal" tool

Authoring vs auditing

LinkSquares "Finalize" is built for writing new contracts. Colabra is built for auditing old ones. We don't help you draft the new employment agreement; we help you find the "Golden Parachute" clause hidden in the target's existing executive contracts.

Entity intelligence

LinkSquares focuses on the "four corners" of the contract. Colabra looks outside the document. We extract company names to build a visual ownership graph and run live background checks (sanctions, litigation, adverse media) on every entity in the data room.

The VDR reality

LinkSquares wants to be your repository. But on a buy-side deal, the data lives in Datasite or Intralinks. Colabra works alongside the VDR. We ingest the external data without requiring you to "import" it into your internal legal system, keeping the deal data clean, segregated, and disposable.
