What you need

  • a Gemini client with MCP support
  • your Colabra account
  • the production remote MCP URL:
https://api.colabra.ai/mcp

When to use Gemini with Colabra

Use Gemini when your team already works in a Gemini surface and wants the same core outcome as other MCP clients: live access to projects, files, findings, entities, requests, and reports without copying data out of Colabra first.

If a team prefers Gemini for day-to-day prompting, the goal is not to recreate a separate diligence workspace there. The goal is to let Gemini inspect and work against the Colabra project directly so the outputs stay grounded and reusable.

Setup

  1. Open the MCP or external tools configuration flow in your Gemini client.
  2. Add a remote MCP server.
  3. Paste the remote MCP URL above.
  4. If Gemini asks for OAuth metadata or token endpoints directly, use the values on the MCP page.
  5. Complete Colabra sign-in and approve access.

Note

Gemini MCP client surfaces may vary by product. The stable piece is the Colabra side: use the hosted remote MCP URL and OAuth-based sign-in.

After connection, treat Gemini like a front end over the live project rather than a separate place to hold diligence notes.
